For Charleston I think a taxi would be about $27 for two people (about
13 miles - at least the airport says that is the rate FROM the airport
to near the port) and there is also an airport shuttle to downtown
which is $12 each. So the taxi wouldn't be too much more than that.
When we were on our boat which was at the Charleston Maritime Center
near to where the cruise ship docks are, Bob walked to a car rental
place. The airport is over by the Air Force base, and we wanted to
go over there and shop in the commissary.
There are also some public transportation options in Charleston, but
that isn't too easy for someone with luggage.
