Earthquake in Dominica updates?

Do any of you have connections in the Caribbean that have updates on any
damage in the area caused by the earthquake in Dominica?

From what I've read and seen on TV, the quake was a 7.4 and could be felt
from Puerto Rico to Venezuela.

Hope things are ok. I'll be there on Monday for 11 days so I'll keep my eyes
peeled for any updates or information.

(I always get very concerned about things like that)

Before you leave, I'd contact the hotel where you're staying to ensure that
everything is ok. An earthquake that strong could cause damage to
infrastructure. Make sure they haven't lost electricity, water or other
important things. You don't want to show up and find yourself in some giant
room at the hotel, living on a cot, with limited food and water. Possibly
no running water. Possible no working bathrooms.
