| | Guest | Passport Update Last week, I brought my Boss's son to the State building in Stamford
Ct. They were leaving yesterday, for Tinisia, Africa. They realized 5
days prior to leaving, that his passport had expired. Not realizing
that children's passports are only good for 5 years, not 10.
We went to State Bldg, without an appoitment. We couldn't get through
on the phone, of course.
It cost $175.00 including overnight mail expense, and we had his
renewed passport the very next day at our doorstep. The line was about
1 hour long.
Pricey, yes, but anything is possible.

It is pricey when it is a rush, but I am very glad he got his passport
and was able to travel. Guess things are improving.

That is great news, Sue. It sounds like the passport offices are
starting to catch up.
