| | Guest | Prohibited Items Aside from the obvious things like firearms and live animals, what other
items are generally prohibited on cruise lines? I got stopped at airline
security once because I had forgotten I had a small pair of scissors in my
travel kit. I understand that things like nail clippers and pocket knives
are not allowed on airplanes any more. Are there common household items
like this that you can't bring on a cruise ship?
Also, I know that you can't bring alcohol onto a ship. Can you bring
non-alcoholic beverages like cans of soda? | |

Over the years, here are a few things that have been confiscated from my
luggage by the cruise lines :
Acetylene cutting torch
Band saw
used adult diapers
unnecessary body parts
chain saw
auto muffler and transmission
air compressor
fermenting corn
still for making moonshine
20mm canon
25 kW generator
fireworks
TV antenna
2 sheep, one goat and 4 skunks

OK, a serious question deserves a serious reply: You barbecue them just
like you would a squirrel, coon or possum.
