Default CAC Cruises/Joyrstar Cruises

Just returned from the Enchantment of the Seas on a great cruise.
I found the trip on Cruise Compete.com.
I bought it from CAC cruises/Joystar Cruises.
I paid the full RCL cost for the particular cabin/Senior citizen
level.
I was promised a $50 Ship Board Credit that never showed up (at least
by the time we disembarked}.
Still can't get a straight answer on where the missing $50 is from the
travel agent or his company after multiple e-mails and calls.
Anyone else have dealings with these people?

I strongly suspect you would have received a similar "deal" and
actually received the $50.00 OBC from a local agent rather than
wasting your time on CruiseCompete.

Be sure to also let Cruise Compete know what happened and if and how it
is settled.

I thought I selected a "local" agent from Cruise Compete.
He was a Florida agent Less than 100 miles from me and that's why I
picked him, but it turns out he is just a broker for Joystar.

Doris, thank you.
I have done so and they have tried to contact CAC Cruises but so far
no answer.

I am having the same problem with CAC Cruises. Ken promised either a
ship credit or trip insurance. I elected for the trip insurance.
When my cruise packet info showed up, it says I declined trip
insurance. I wrote Ken about it & he assured me the insurance was
offered through the travel agency. When I requested a copy of the
policy, or something in writing (the same day) he did not respond. I
have been leaving voicemails & sending emails for three weeks and he
has not responded. I filed a complaint with the Better Business
Bureau of Central Florida, and plan on contacting Royal Caribbean next.
