Don't have the answers to your questions but... Years ago, we took a
3-day cruise to Baja Calif. For the sea day, the ship just circled Santa
Cruz Island all day long.
I am guessing the ship will go just fast enough for the stabilizer to be
effective.

Default Short distance cruise question

Was on the Paradise last week. Day at sea the ship moved real slow. I
think we stopped for a bit.
Water was very calm midday. Late afternoon a pod of dolphins made quite
a display.
Lots of activities on board from hairy chest contest, dance lessons,
slot machine tournament...
and more entertainment than days in port. Dining room was open for
lunch as well as the usual
dinner and breakfast. No scenic routes. Water water everywhere.

Andy, as far as I can tell, the ship just slows down. That has been my
experience in the past. Is this another Chee-Weez cruise?

BTW, are you still in Metarie? I moved to Shreveport to be closer to my
family.

I am sorry to see the Grandeur of the Seas leave New Orleans, I really
liked that ship. Hopefully, New Orleans will get some more cruise
ships. Please let us know about your cruise on the Fantasy.
