Have you got the bill yet. At least according to Sprint, these are
billed as International Roaming and aren't on the regular plan. I would
be very interested to know what sticker shock (if any) is involved in
this. | |

I will be anxiously awaiting my next bill. I didn't use it a lot, but I
know someone who called home at least once a day. I will report back
when the bill comes in.

| | Guest | Back from our Constellation Transatlantic!!! Jean, what a terrific report! It's so fun to read what a great time you all
had together and what a positive experience you had on Connie and exploring
London and environs post-cruise. We fell in love with transats on our one
and only, a rare August crossing that fit our need to take a school vacation
voyage. Hope you can try that E-W version sometime, as it's a dream for
adjusting the body clock to US time--no jet lag on your return!
Welcome home!

I rememmber our cruise on the Infinity and it never felt crowded, so
expected you to find the same on the Coonstellation. The only issue in
that respect was finding a chair around the T-pool. Of course it doesn't
help that we refuse to get up early on a sea day(grin).
Ermalee in the hot tub I belive, she joined me and Kevin there on the
Volendam. You in a hot tub, I haven't seen yet in the cruises we have
taken together(grin).
I don't care how long a cruise is, there is so much to do that you can't
do it all and I can't see anyone getting bored. Maybe you should do a
B2B on the QM2 out of Brooklyn, that might give you enough sea days.
I will wait patiently for your port posts and your pictures, I am noone
to complain since I just posted the Volendam pictures while you were away.

Jean, glad to hear you liked the Constellation. We're booked on her
for two sailings in '08. First a 10 day southern Caribbean from Ft.
Lauderdale on Feb. 3 and then 10/30/08 we're doing the repositioning
from Bayonne to Ft. Lauderdale. It's an 11 day and we liked that it
spends 2 days in Bermuda and also goes to Aruba, St. Maarten, and
Labadee.
Welcome back...sorry we'll miss you in N.J. We'll be in Marco Island
on Oct. 6. BTW, Bob will be in San Antonio in June. His son is
graduating from Lackland the weekend of June 30. Maybe you guys can
meet up and sing some Polish songs!!!LOL

Oh, Jo-Ann, I hope that you enjoy her as much as we did! She may be in dry
dock right now and so she should really be in ship shape for you! I did not
see anything visible that had to be done to her...maybe the bedspreads
needed to be replaced...they were not at all shabby and were clean, but
looked as if they may have seen many cruises by their color. Only noticeable
because the drapes were the same design and their color was brighter.
I really hope that your captain will be Ioannis Papanikolaou...he is so
cheerful and friendly that the crew senses it and reacts the same way, which
really makes your voyage very pleasant.
That 10/30 itinerary sounds like a winner as well as the 11 days. Lucky you!
Thanks for the welcome back! Tell Bob to be sure and call us when he comes
in June...we would love to get together with him! Right now because of all
the rain that we have been getting, it is terribly humid here and I'll bet
Bob's son is really suffering while doing his basic training.... probably
has nothing good to say about San Antonio right now!..I have had to really
crank up the a/c to make it comfortable. I'll e-mail you our phone number.
