Friends of mine are going to be leaving the area tomorrow post SB. They
have tickets already, but are concerned if there might be problems from
left over weekend cruisers from the Midwest and West Coast and all the
hooha with the Storm. I told them to hold on to the tickets for dear
life, but was wondering if anyone knew for sure what might be left over
from last weekend.

I was just wondering if the back up from the other day would impact on
them because of the extra hordes. It appears not since they have
confirmed tickets. The new wrinkle is that it looks like the may join
the Great Unwashed because today's flight is hanging by a thread. Told
them it may be easier to rent a car and drive back to Indy.

We were flying from BWI to FLL tomorrow morning on Southwest. I kept
checking their website and they eventually came up with a statement
that flights could be re-booked. Ours hadn't been cancelled yet but I
knew it would be. We were offered Thursday morning but we felt those
flights wouldn't go and we were correct. There were no Friday flights
available because this is a holiday weekend and so we are going Sat.
We are staying in a hotel and obviously someone on a cruise doesn't
have that flexibility.

It may vary by state. I remember years ago that we, or our in-laws (I
can't remember which) couldn't get into our room at a 5 diamond
resort. The person there, who was a travel agent, refused to leave and
the hotel couldn't force her. I don't remember if they eventually
persuaded her to leave or if another room opened up.
