Aruba beaches Hi Karen, You didn't mention how long you would be in Aruba. If you
have a full day here is what I would suggest. Rent a Jeep for the day
(about $70) There are many many out of the way beaches that are
beautiful and not crowded. There are all kinds of Jeep rentals just
outside the ship terminal. The Jeep office we went to gave us a map and
marked all the beaches for us. It is almost impossible to get lost in
Aruba. We did the entire island and stopped at 5 or 6 beaches and did
snorkeling at them all in about 5 or 6 hours. That included driving
the 20 miles (or so) to Baby Beach (furthest point on the island).
Then we returned the Jeep and the rental office wanted to know what we
thought of the beaches. It was a great day and a great way to really
see the island on your own time and pace. The beaches you mention are
in the hotel zone. They are all very nice. Just wanted to give you
another option that was alot of fun for us. We ended the day with some
drinks in town and had a great time.
