What is the best calling card from Puerto Vallarta to the US? To use ladatel card (public prepaid phones), yes the Local service is 1
peso ($0.10 us) a minute, but for long distance (to the US) is 5 pesos
(~0.50) a minute, i am not sure if this price is nationwide or just in
the fontier area, so it could be more, but you can make a collect call
to the US by dialing 090 for free in any public phone, without a card.
So far your costco card seems a beter deal, also be aware of local
hotel charges, even for 800 numbers.
Good luck.
