If you travel to Peru, you will probably land in the Lima international
airport anyway; from there all domestic flights are about 70-80 US
dollars to anywhere in the country, but some places try to charge
"gringos" more, so be careful. However, the only problem with air
travel inside Peru is weather conditions; sometimes you want to fly to
Cuzco and the air is so dusty they don't allow any air traffic. This
happened to me once (I've been in Peru 5 years) and I had to take
ominbus instead, which was time consuming (about 34 hours), but very
cheap. It costs me a total of 8 US dollars to get to Cuzco from Lima by
bus via Arequipa and I saw so many things about Peru mosts tourists
will never imagine. The culture is so multi-faceted. The most known
airline is Lan Peru, but there may be others, but don't trust any
airline which is not sold in a real travel agency in Peru. Trust only
those that accept all major credit cards for instance. Otherwise you
never know where they are even going. Be careful; sometimes it can be
very inexpensive traveling in Peru, but in the end any extra you pay is
worth your safety. So, 70-80 US dollars. Have a fun and safe trip!!
