His Spanish was so bad it was hard to take him seriously anyway. I
think my Spanish was far better than his, so I guess I won't starve on
the calles of Buenos Aires or Montevideo.

Rich,
I think you'll be fine with your Spanish...besides, so many people
there speak English, especially in service industry jobs.
And, I think Clint's terrible Spanish is part of the act...I can't say
for sure.

thanks for the suggestions.
I saw a restaurant profiled on television. I think it was in B.A. and
all the food had aphrodesiac type themes.
does anyone know what this place was and is the food any good?

Some years ago, I bought an Insight Guide to Argentina, and I found it to be
very helpful. It gave a history of the country and a very thorough
description of the various regions and what there is to see in each. | |
