Default Oaxaca Hotel--Need help fast!

I am traveling to Oaxaca in 3 days with friends. They have booked us
into the Lanoria Hotel which looks to be just outside the periferico,
though it says 10 blocks to zocalo. Anybody know anything about this
place?

I prefer to be on or near the zocalo. Have always enjoyed La Senorial
but have not been there since '96 and just read a 2003 review that was
very bad. Anybody know anything about that hotel?

How about Hotel Antequeras or others on or near the the zocalo that are
reasonably priced?

How about hotels in Puerto Escondido?

We returned last night from Oacaxa. We stayed in las Golondrinas in the
historical district. There is a demonstration by the teachers in the zocalo
area so I suggest staying in the historical area near the Santo Domingo
church.

Good luck
