Default Guatemala: from Tikal to Semuc Champey

Hello,

After the suggestion I had, I'm trying to arrange my trip in Guatemala.
I'd like to go from Tikal(after the visit of the ruins in the early
morning) to Lanquin and sleep there.
Next day I'd like to visit Semuch Champey and finally go to
Chichicastenango arriving there in the late afternoon/evening.
I've some questions: I'll move with private mini-van for this route. Is
it possible to do my plans or it's too short time?
How long does it take from Tikal to Lanquin?
How long does it take from Lanquin to Chichi?

Thanks for your suggestions.

Ciao,
Renton

From Raxruha to Lanquin you definitely need high clearance 4 wheel
drive because of mud-slide damage. With a 2-wheel drive you will have to
stick to pavement and go through Chisec and Coban, to Lanquin. In the
Lanquin Semuc Champey area I would be more comfortable with a 4wd but a
2 wd van would be quite ok. And give yourself more time from place to
place. C.A. is the opposite of Kansas.
