 experience of apartments / guest houses in Buenos Aires?

Nice to see you around again! I'm going to be in Buenos Aires for a
couple of weeks in June, too, and I have booked through ByT. I used
their services during my last trip to Buenos Aires over Christmas, and
had no problems at all...save for a flood that occurred because we got
three days of non-stop thundershowers and the landlord hadn't cleared
out the gutters.
I stayed in Palermo Viejo and really enjoyed it. I´m not familiar
with the other sites you mentioned, but I can definitely recommend ByT,
and you should have no problem finding something suitable for your
price range. I'm actually plunking down only $190 a week for this
trip, and the place looks quite nice.

ps I used some information you left in a post about a year or so ago in
a paper I just wrote on indigenous contributions to the shaping of the
nation and the state in Argentina...hope you don't mind!
