safe or unsfae to travel w/o a guide of teh area?

Default Quito for photographers

Safe in some neighborhoods, very unsafe in others. Quito is a big
city. You´ll need to be more specific about what area of Quito.

I think you are better situated if you go to Amazonas Ave. and get a
tour, buy also a couple books on how to explore Ecuador.
