brazil airfare out of control

Anyone noticed that airfare to Brazil is out of control this year?
Are less people going there now?
Roundtrip is now $1,000 each from LAX to Rio. That's insane.
It's always been around $800.00

Open your eyes then!
The dollar i constantly falling against Reals. Today it is 2.35 Reals each
dollar.
One year ago it was 3.25....ok?

Actually the prices have fallen if you bring your own jet fuel!
