Cancun airport transfer question

A group of 6 are planning to use a company at cancunvans.com to get
from Cancun to Tulum.
Their price is good, $190 round trip for the group, but they require
credit card payment up front.
Is this wise to do since I know nothing about the company except from
their web page?

For Mexico, even in that area, that price sounds pretty steep to me;
but, it's your money. Chances are you could negotiate a lower price on the
spot at the airport, even if it meant taking two taxis. You could rent a van
for several days at that price.
