Default Valle Fertil, Argentina

Hello,

I'll be going soon in the Moon Valley, in Argentina. I found some hotels in
a village called Valle Fertil. But Valle Fertil is mentioned on the maps as
an area or a county, not a village. Does anybody know where the village is
located exactly? Or maybe it is the short name of San Agustin de Valle
Fertil?

Thank you for your information.

Daniel:

Here is a description copied from the Insight Guide to Argentina:

"...About 250km (155 miles) to the northeast of Vallecito, along Ruta 141
and Ruta 510, is the Valle Fértil, where the town of San Agustín de Valle
Fértil lies in the middle of a desert oasis surrounded by vineyards and
citrus groves, which are irrigated by the adjacent San Agustín reservoir.

"San Agustín de Valle Fértil is the gateway to the Parque Natural Provincial
Ischigualasto (including Valle de la Luna)...."

I hope that this is helpful.
