hi
I konw that from 2004 there is a limit of 500 people on inca trial. But is
there any limit of people to go just to the ruins (by train from Cusco to
Aguas Calientes, and than bus to the ruins). And how much that cousts
(antrance, train ticets, bus ticets). Do I need to do any reserwations ?

Hi

as far as I know there is no limit visiting just the ruins. In fact it
is quite a big complex and did not feel crowded to me. Costs in
September/October 2003 were: entrance USD 50 (25 for students), train
Aguas Calientes to Cuzco, one way USD 12 (in the morning, otherwise 36
?). Don't know about Cuzco to Aguas Calientes and the bus since I walked
that part. Apart from the train you probably don't need any
reservations.

______--
You will need reservations if you plan on staying overnite at the MP Hotel
on the site. Highly recommended as your awareness of the site changes when
the train crowd leaves. Clmb Huana Picchu if you get the chance. Great
view and insight into the Inca way of life at the top.
