1. look at a map
2. buy a Lonely Planet guide and look it up
3. take a bus to Posadas and then take a bus to Iguacu.

The cheapest way, although time-consuming, would be to go by bus. You could
travel from Salta to Tucumán, then from Tucumán to Iguazú. I did part of
that route in reverse, from Iguazú to Tucumán, and it was a long and tiring
trip, because the bus I took had seats that didn't recline very far. If you
take a bus with "cama" arrangements, the seats will recline farther.

The fastest way, of course, would be by air, but you most likely would have
to travel Salta to Buenos Aires, then from there to Iguazú.

Hi Danny;

You can improve your trip visiting Asuncion, the Paraguay Capital,
because there are direct buses to/from there to Salta and Iguazú.
Also will be cheaper than other trips they reccomend.

If you decided to pass for Posadas, at one hour in the way to Iguazú,
you will find San Ignacio. I strongly reccomend to do an stop of few
hours to visit the impresive jesuitic ruins. Then, in 4 more hours you
will reach Puerto Iguazú. I reccomend to cross to Brasil for
accommodation: is cheaper and they have more comfortable hotels, also
the breakfast there is great.

good trip
