Default Costa Rica, Things to do. Is it safe

Hi I was wondering what are some things to go to Costa Rica. It is safe in
Costa Rica. I may be staying at Pueblo Real in Quepos for my trip.

Thanks,

Robert

It will keep me out of Detroit. The only time I visited Gary, IN. the locals
were burning a house and having a great time. I won't return. I have learned to
stay out of places where the majority is black. I am white. Keep smiling, Buddy

Exactly Right!! Here in Guatemala and Honduras Gangs members are
killing each other in groves. Tourist who decide to venture into these
dangouus barrios or
go sightseeing all hours of the night, well there might be a price to
pay.
San Jose at night can get rough, when the sun goes down the crack
heads, whores, petty theives are all out applying their trade.

I would remain alert about petty theft like pickpockets and stuff, but
outside the san jose area and the caribbean coast area the country is
not dangerous, at least in my experience and what i heard from locals.
Costa Rica is one of the more stable and less poor countries in Latin
America and I think has less crime than the US over all, but it is a
foreign country so just be a little extra cautious because its an
unfamiliar place.

As for places to go, depends on what you want to do. Costa Rica is a
very small country with a lot packed into a small area, so there's no
need to stay in any one place. Quepos of course means Manuel Antonio
National Park- just as advice, the monkeys arent in the forest,
they're at the beach begging from the tourists... Carara NP is a short
trip up the road from Quepos and has really big rainforest trees and
crocodiles...
