Default Cabo San Lucas

I would like anyone's comments on resorts in the corridor. We are
going in September and are deciding between the Westin and the
Sheraton Hacienda del Mar, and can't find anyone who's ever been
there.

I've stayed at the Westin several times and it's a spectacular resort with the
bright colors spectacular and architecture. I see photos of their pools in
advertisements everywhere (the ones that look like they drop off into the
ocean) and they've done a couple of Sports Illustrated swimsuit shoots there
(alas, not during my visits :)

A friend from work stayed at one of the Hacienda's on a time share swap (I
think there are 2 or 3 with variations of that name), not sure if it's the
"Sheraton" Hacienda but it was a lot closer to Cabo than to San Jose, if that
helps pin it down. He said it was also excellent and highly recommended.

I would also look at the Palmilla, with its famous gracious service (if it has
reopened yet after the rennovations ... they were working on it when we were in
Baja last December) and the Twin Dolphin, which is a smaller austere luxury
hotel right on a small cove with great snorkeling.

Sept is the height of the hurricane season, FWIW. I'd figure a 25% chance
you'll see a storm during a week's stay.

The better corridor resorts tend to be much nicer than the ones in Cabo proper.
Any one of the four mentioned should be great (and there are a couple others
as well).

Bill
