Default Still no one with recommendations for lodging and diving on Roatan?

I'm not looking fat any of the all inclusives, like CocoView, FIBR, etc.

I am looking at Luna Beach, Lost Paradise and Pura Vida. First I'd like to
hear any reports anyone has on those 3, but I'm still open minded enough to
hear about any other cool places to stay in West End. And any dive ops you
particularly liked.

Thanks in advance.

(thanks also to those that have already offered your input but I'm trying
for more info from others that may not have seen my first query)

Uhhh, he's probably referring to the west end of Roatan <<as in the subject
line "Still no one with recommendations for lodging and diving on Roatan?"
>> which is called ... West End.

With regard to the hotels, I think I stayed at Pura Vida once but I'm not
real sure ... it's been a few years. Most of the cheaper little hotels down
at West End are about the same I've found. Some have optional meal plans,
but the nice thing about down there is that everything is so close you can
eat at one place & drink at another. I usually end up out on the dock at
Foster's (?).

I went snorkeling last year with my 14 year old daughter and we stayed at
Fantasy Island. We got a pretty good deal, but compared to West End it was
a small fortune. It was pretty fun though.

Have a good trip.

Steve
