 Mexico City to Belize City by bus, anyone?
The Bus Across Mexico book says 20 hours to Chetumal via ADO, $60 US,
and then 4 more hours to Belize City, $10 US. Obviously one could
change buses in various places in between Chetumal and Mexico city,
perhaps most logically in Villahermosa, which is not a bad city, with a
good archeological museum
I would not recommend night travel in Campeche state (including the city
of Escarcega), for security reasons.
