The hotel does not adequately warn guests of this problem. Small sticker on the lower right hand corner of the bathroom mirror with a faucet with a red line on it. Small print on the hotel map when check in.
Very hard to imagine a top notch looking hotel that is only about a year old without filter water. I've seen photos of the hotel posted in our PHOTOS gallery. It appears to be a nice hotel and Riu Hotels have a very good reputation overall in Mexico. So, still watch the water in Mexico!
