Default Riu Palace - Cabo San Lucas

Had a nice time at this resort but be very aware of the fact that the water in the room is not drinkable. Even a touch on a tooth brush can put you down! 5 out of 8 in our party got sick and some are still suffering 4 days after the vacation was over.

The hotel does not adequately warn guests of this problem. Small sticker on the lower right hand corner of the bathroom mirror with a faucet with a red line on it. Small print on the hotel map when check in.

Very hard to imagine a top notch looking hotel that is only about a year old without filter water.

I've seen photos of the hotel posted in our PHOTOS gallery. It appears to be a nice hotel and Riu Hotels have a very good reputation overall in Mexico. So, still watch the water in Mexico!
