Yes there is more than enough to keep you occupied for 5 - 7 days in
Gaudeloupe. It's almost like being in the the south of France - well it
is part of Europe after all. That said, if you are into "unspoilt"
nature and want to see the Caribbean like it was 50 years ago, then
take a short trip to Dominica. The Isles d'Express offers regular ferry
trips between both islands - Dominica has the second largest boiling
lake in the world - it's an epic hike. A two island trip will give you
a nice flavor of the contraxt between the developed and the unspoilt
Caribbean.
