Which Island to Chose

We are planning a 1 week stay at the Young Island Resort on St. Vincent.
From there we would like to send a 2nd week on an island where we can
fly non-stop from SV. Our choices are Barbados, Grenada, Trinidad, St.
Lucia, Antigua and Puerto Rico. We are looking for great beaches amid
beautiful surroundings. Nightlife, Etc. is unimportant. What suggestion
hast thou?

While you're on Yound Island take a day trip to Bequia
on the ferry from St. Vincent or you might even want to
spend a week in Bequia.

I'd cross Trinidad off the list straight away and I dont know anything about
Puerto Rico.
St Lucia has dramatic scenery and some nice beaches, but most of the hotels
are at the north of the island and the Pitons (which ARE St Lucia) are in
the south.
Barbados hasnt got such dramatic scenery but it does have some lovely
beaches. Its probably the easiest to get around by yourself.
Antigua - some lovely beaches but very flat land.
I'd go for Grenada but check that your proposed hotel has recovered from the
hurricane. And that it still has a beach.

Interesting idea because it would involve only a ferry ride. Is it much
different than SV? I'd like to go to a second island that would afford
us a different experience than SV.
