| | Guest | Breezes Bahamas My wife and I are going to the Bahammas on the 22nd of December.
Aparently The all inclusive vacation includes a shuttle to the airport.
Having only traveled in my own car before, I am new to this whole
airport thing. I bought the package through Priceline, and all I got
was a printed inventory. How do i find this shuttle when I get to
Nassu?
Hope this isnt too dumb of a question

| | Guest | Breezes Bahammas Did you book through apple or liberty travel? The shuttles at nassau
airport will help you. I found most bahamians to be friendly and
helpful | |

| | Guest | Breezes Bahammas IIRC there will be a representative from Breezes meet you either at baggage
claim or after customs at the airport.
Going to the one on Cable Beach? Was there in April of 2003 and had plenty
of problems. (No hot water in room the entire week then they tried to put
us in a musty dirty dark room in a much lower category than we booked, cold
hot food and warm cold food, steaks that they had to take off the bottom of
shoes they were so tough, etc.) They even gave me a letter telling me they
would give me a complimentary week at any SuperClubs property. Well, I've
been trying to "cash" the week and they have now been dragging out the
authorization for 2 months now. They may have a guarantee but it is
worthless.
Hope your stay was better than mine.

| | Guest | Breezes Bahammas First, of all, the airport is really sort of run down, but hey, you are not
staying at the airport. When you get off the plane, you will need to go
through immigration, to get your passport and immigration paper stamped.
Next, get your baggage and just go to Ground Transportation. You go to the
desk and tell them which resort you are staying at and they tell you where
to stand to get the resort shuttle. My wife and I were in a hurry to get
started, so we just skipped the shuttle and took a taxi, more cost though.
Also, it took about 45 minutes to an hour to get to the northeast part of
the island to the RIU, as the airport is on the soutwest part of the island.
You can watch my two Nassau dive videos at videos.Google.com and search for
James Bond Nassau
The Rock Wall Dive
Enjoy

| | Guest | Breezes Bahammas A follow-up to my earlier. I eventually sent a certified, return receipt
letter to the CEO of SuperClubs (the parent Company of Breezes) with copies
of all the emails, faxes, etc. Two days after I mailed it his
representative called and said that the resort of my choice would be
reserved the next day......and guess what, called me back with a
confirmation number the next day. We will see how it works out.
