Default How is traveling to Puerto Rico

I'll stay in PR for 15 days. First I would like to see San Juan for a
day or two. Than I'm traveling to the west coast of the Island, to go
surfing. But I also want to see some of the "tourist-stuff" like the
rainforests. But I have no idea if I've got enough time to do and see
all those things.

The most important thing for me is to get a good impressian of the
culture of the Island an the people. You see I'm a Dutchy and the PR
culture is is so different as ours over here, and that is what I'd like
to explore during my stay.

I don't like resorts and accomodations like that. For two reasons first
of all those are to expensive for me and I think you don't get the
right impression of the Island.(they are the same all over the globe)
I'm looking for hostels but on the web I can't find many hostels over
the Island.

Try searching for "puerto rico paradores". They are inexpensive goverment
run hotels.
