ABC Islands is least Third World. Curacao has high crime. Bonaire and
Aruba have very friendly islands overall but it's hard to really speak
in such a generalized manner.

I would not clasify much of the caribbean as "third world" at all.

Third world means the hopeless despirate poverty of a place like
Bangaledesh, or Zambia.

First you have Puerto Rico, which is part of the United States of
America. As are the USVI. Hardly third world. Neither are the
islands that are part of France. The British Cayman Islands have a per
capita income and cost of living that is higher than the US mainland.
The ABC islands are likewise wealthy.

The only third world-ish places would be most ex-Spanish places, Haiti,
and maybe Jamacia.

It's definitely got low crime, anyway. We used to leave the keys
in the car at the port when going off-island.
