Black cloud over Aruba

I wish that you people sending in reports about Aruba would stop. Most
of you probably have never been there and don't know what you are
talking about.. Pick up your local paper and I'll bet you will see more
crime in one week that this island of 93,000 have in one year.. I have
been going to Aruba for 12 years and feel very safe at all times. The
locals are some of the nicest one will ever meet. Of course there is
also a few bad apples where ever you go. I also feel sorry for the
young girl but she did make a very bad decision by going ALONE with
people she hardly knew. I also feel that the police and government are
doing everything that they can to find the girl. Please Please do not
bad mouth a place that most of you know nothing about.

yes i feel the same way! i feel safer in aruba than anywhere else really. i
am so upset about the bad rep aruba is getting cause of this. i have always
felt so safe in aruba. and i'm goin back there shortly ( less than 2 weeks -
can't wait! ).

You can grin all you want but it's become increasingly obvious, just based
on you moniker, that you have an axe to grind against Aruba. What inquring
minds would like to know is how many times you have personally been to Aruba
and tell us your personal experiences that have caused this obsession trash
the place so much. Otherwise, I don't think anyone on this board can take
you seriously.
