Cancun van transport question

A group of 6 people are thinking of using a private van service
(cancunvans.com) to get from Cancun airport to Tulum in April. (We'd
like to do this instead of hassling with cabs or bus.) The cost is
fair, $190 round trip for up to 7 people. They want credit card payment
up front though.

Is this a smart thing to do? How do I know it is a legitimate company?
Anyone used a private van service they can recommend?

You can just pick up a collectivo at the airport for about the same
price. Go to the taxi stand and tell them how many folks you have and
they will load you in a big van. Maybe not as comfy, but you don't have
to use a credit card in advance.
