Club Med It's funny that this thread was originally about St Kitts and now is about
Guadaloupe. As another data point, I would like to point out that when I
vacationed in St Kitts back in 2002, I stayed at Timothy Beach Resort and
met this retired coupe from the East Coast. They told me that they had
planned to stay in Guadaloupe for about 5 days but decided to cut it short
after 2 days. Their reason: French snobbery. They said that if you don't
speak the language, forget it, because you are literally ignored, at least
from their experience. This is second hand knowledge but that couple was
very adamant in their criticism.
