Grand Cayman?
Kris,
we went to Grand Cayman a few years ago. It is quite expensive at
restaurants, so budget for that. Taxis are ridiculously expensive, you're
much better off to rent a car right from the airport. Rentals are
reasonable and give you lots of flexibility. Don't waste your time
visiting the "blow holes" to the south, they're nothing to write home
about. And "Hell" is basically some rock formations that have been
marketed into a tourist trap. Very tacky, but some people like that sort
of thing. Enjoy the beaches, and get out on the water. Stingray City is
a must. We stayed at a Holiday Inn along seven-mile beach and quite
enjoyed it.
