Default jamaica: expired passport?

I can't imagine travelling on an expired passport and thinking
it'll be valid anywhere. I won't give advice though. Still,
I have had experience with the US embassy/visa section in Jamaica,
and you really don't want to have to spend days getting your
passport sorted out while there (they seem to process [mostly
deny] several hundred people a day). But you've left it a bit
late, so good luck!
