Default St. Martin or Peurta

A group of about 4 friends (mid thirties) are looking to relax for a
week. We are deciding between Peurta Vallarta and St. Martin. Anyone
have any ideas/comments?

I've had the nicest vacations I've ever had in St. Martin....I've been there
4 times and can't wait to go back. Can't tell you about Puerto Vallarta
though.

St. Maarten - ahhhhh!!!! Went there in October, soooo darned romantic.
There's the Dutch side with great duty-free shopping, and the French side
with amazing restaurants. I also took a side trip to Saba, Montserrat,
Anguilla and Antigua.

If you've never been to either, St. Maarten is DEFINITELY the place to go.
It's not an expensive place really, although you can spend a lot for
restaurants on the French side if you wish, and of course the 5-star hotels
can be expensive. We rented our cars at Safari rent-a-car near the airport.
You will need a car, but the island is not so big that you can't get
everywhere you want to go.

For you guys, did I mention that the French girls go topless or nude at
Orient Beach?
