Puerto Plata Vacation - Tips Needed

Hi,

In July we are headed off to Puerto Plata for the first time. Looking at
the cost of airfares is causing headaches. does anyone have tips on how to
get there and back less expensively than commercial airlines?

Also, we are planning on staying at Fun Tropicale as part of the Perennial
Vacation Club. Anyone care to share their experiences? Is the
All-inclusive worth it? Anyone win at the casino?

We've traveled to DR for 10 years and usually go by Apple Charter (no
problems out of Newark or Philadelphia). You could check with Liberty
Travel who seems to sell a lot of Apple.

Don't know Fun Tropicale as we stayed at Paradise Beach Club when we were
there and go to Punta Cana now.
