I would be the one interested in the fishing. But I'll try it and see if it
works. I may just end up going with my sister instead, crazy as she may be.

I had the same problem with my girlfriend, i solved it by finding another
one who loved my suggestion.

| | Guest | How to Convince Boyfriend of NEED to Visit Caribbean? I guess you main task is to convince him to give up a week of vacation
hunting for a week in the Carribean. Not sure you can/will convince
him. Myself being an avid golfer and hunter it is in our
blood.....LOL. I am not sure how long term this relationship is , but I
bet he was a hunter before meeting you and will continue to be a hunter,
hopefully with you instead of without you. If your relationship is
going to last, you will have to deal with the hunting because he most
likely will not give it up. My wife knew before marrying me 5 years a
go that the only time of the year the weekends were ours together was in
Jan. and Feb......hunting season over was and too cold to golf. She
knew what she was getting into and has no problems with it. She is
great! However, during the summers I do sacrifice(lol) a couple of
weekends of golf to go on vacations/trips together. Maybe he will come
around and take you to the Carribean.
Good Luck!

Well, actually . . . I told him last night that I was making plans to go to
Roatan with my sister and now all of a sudden he wants to go. Funny how
things change.

I did know what I was getting into before we got serious. And I am not
opposed to hunting and am planning to go with him to Montana the next time
he goes. However, we are talking about two different things. You are willing
to give your wife time (Jan and Feb), but my significant other was willing
to give me zero time.
However, he did come around as soon as I told him I was actually planning
the trip with someone else! So now the big question is where to go? And I am
working on that one. Thanks for your insights!

our first trip to Aruba this Spring.

per ticket.........
