Default Cell Help

Hello All,
I will be travelling to the following islands this winter, could you
please tell me if my Verizon CDMA/AMPS phone will work here (after
registering it on
their networks) or if I need to rent a GSM phone?
St. Maarten
St. Barths
St. Kitts and Nevis
Saba
Anguilla
If I need a GSM phone, does Verizon still rent them and what is the number I
should call?

SAn

Is there something wrong in asking your service provider?

Your best bet would be to have a triband phone and get a local sim
card to use in those areas, provided there is service that cover those
islands. If Verizon do let you roam, it would be prohibitively
expensive. Unless of course someone else is paying your phone bill.
