Default Infant at Chichen Itza-Cozumel

Chichen is a BIG site. You should have some sun covering for your child lest
the baby get fried.
If you use a stroller you will not be able to climb those steps with it. Steps
are narrow and the incline is very steep. Then again, backpacking her up and
down there may be hazardous unles you are in good physical health and and can
carry that weight on your back without losing balance.

Remember that coming DOWN those steps is more hazardous than going up for
most folks.

Stay away from clouds. The silver lining everyone keeps talking about might
be a hailstorm. Reliable sources also report that lighting has been known to
hide out in clouds.

I don't understand why taking an infant on a vacation-it is not a
vacation! Leave the child at home with a babysitter.

Or, better yet, go on a more simple vacation by car. Taking an infant
via plane to a third world country is hard on the airline, your fellow
passengers, the hotel, your fellow guests, everybody else on vacation
with you, and most of all, the infant. The infant will not remember
ever being there.

God willing you have 40 or 50 years left. Take the kid with you to a
US beach with a car or some other place. When the kid is 4 or 5, take
it to Disney. When it is 10 or 12 leave it with Grandma and go to
this very adult place WITHOUT it.
