As Orzowei posts, it's not a problem at all. They probably
wouldn't want you if you arrived by hitchhiking... If you want to
travel a lot by car, make sure to negotiate for an unlimited miles
contract (which you ought to be able to do in Habana). Cuba's
bigger than it might seem. Also, be prepared to get by in spanish
(which you probably are) since most people you run into/stay with
won't speak much of anything else.
