Cottages in Costa Rica

I'm looking for recommendations of a cottage to rent in Costa Rica
during the Christmas period.

We need to sleep five in a minimum of 3 separate rooms. Would like a
place that has NO TV, NO PHONE, NO AIR CONDITIONING. I've read of
places that have a garden shower. I don't know what this is but it
sounds like something to be enjoyed.

Don't have a huge budget but if it was on or near a beach we'd be in heaven.

Any and all suggestions welcome.

It has been my experience that places that have TV, phone, A/C usually
charge more for the privilege. Also have noticed that places that don't
offer these facilities tend to assume the tourist is likely to want a
more authentic experience than what they can get in any motel in their
home country.

So. Anyone got any suggestions for cottages in Costa Rica?
