I've always looked at Negril as having an atmosphere of non-stop drinking,
drug use and beach vendors. Have I been mistaken? I've been places where
******tutes, drug dealers, and beach vendors approach me on a regular basis;
I know all you have to do is say, "No thank you," but after the 15th time it
gets annoying. This is significant in the fact that in other Caribbean
islands like Anguilla, St. Kitts, Nevis, Aruba, etc. it never occurs. Some
people relax by getting drunk and stoned and acting a fool, and the country
responds in kind. This isn't what I'm looking for in a vacation. Trip
reports from Negril are usually limited to "We had a great time" or "It was
awesome" but are short on details.

You are unequivocally wrong, as wrong as you could be, John. And you ought
to know better.
I was referring to Ocho Rios and Montego Bay when I wrote that, NOT Negril.
I have never once in my life said or wrote anything that even implied I was
in Negril. Anybody who was mislead either followed someone else, can't read
English, or wasn't paying attention. So save your breath.
Your apology is accepted. Just don't make a habit of this.
