Wyndham Condado Plaza in San Juan?

Can anyone tell me about Wyndham Condado Plaza in San Juan, PR. It
looks like a nice place. How's the beach there, and what's available
at the Candado lagoon? What is Candado like?

The room quotes I saw were about $250/night for a lagoon or ocean view
room in January. Is that considered low-cost by San Juan standards? I
was hoping to get an ocean view for $200/night but I'm not finding
anything in that range. It seems like most of the ocean-side places
are large resort type hotels as opposed to just a hotel on the ocean,
so hence they cost more.

The beach is small and not a very good one. The beach is on an inlet.
$250 is a good price for a room in January at the high end resorts.
Most high end resorts get $300 and up for a room in January which is
high season.
