I disagree. I really did not like Stingray City at all. It wasn't a
snorkeling or diving place as one stands in waist deep water which is
turbid and not clear. Also I was unimpressed with Aruba.
IMO the best snorkeling and diving is in places like Belize, and
Cozumel with extensive reef systems, and the Virgin Islands. I
haven't been to Bonaire, but I understand that is good too.

It sounds like you just went to Stingray City. Many operators there
like Captain Marvin will also take you to either one or two reefs in
addition to Stingray City. Or you can skip Stingray City and just do
the reefs. The reefs at Cayman are excellent.
