Hotel in Toronto

I am going to Toronto in september or october

I am looking for a cheap hotel (<50 CAN$) in downtown area
Any suggestion ?

BTW, what would be a good place to stay if I want to visit the city ?

I just stayed at the sheraton, $59 us a night via priceline, I bet if
you take a star less and bid lower, you'll get something
