Getting to Iqaluit

Hello

Is there any other way of getting to Iqaluit, other than air? I'm embarking
on a mission to visit all territories and provinces in Canada, but Nunavut
is proving to be quite expensive for a backpacker. Are there any regular sea
vessel services during summer that I can catch a lift on?

Hi,

I lived in the baffin Island region and the rest of the NWT for the
better part of 12 years. If you want to visit these sites other than
air...the only way would be at sea. Try applying for a job with Crosby
Shipping as they have ships visit the Baffin region IE: Iqaluit, Cape
dorset, Pangertung, Lake Harbour, Igloolik, Grise Fiord , Resolute Bay
etc........ Crosby Shipping starts moving right after break up (spring) to
bring supplies to all the different Northern settlements. Hope that was of
