| | Guest | Question about a Canadian television program I used to watch Several years ago I used to watch an educational Canadian televison
program which featured a young Canadian couple and their three children
who used to get into a mini-van and drive around the various Canadian
provinces, visiting sites of interest and vacation spots. I really
enjoyed the show but after moving away I lost track of the show and
cannot find it on my local channels.
Regrettably, I cannot recall the name of the show, but the children's
mother was the narrator, I am pretty sure her husband's name was "Don",
and her three children were two girls and a boy, all aged about 5-10
years old. I recall that when the show would first come on the mother
would "call out" the names of "Don" and the kids. They would all pile
into the van and go sight-seeing, (kind of like European Journal, but
in a Canadian locale).
I'm sorry that my details are a bit sketchy, but I figure someone on
this board will recognize the show and provide some details. It was so
soothing to watch.
What I would like to know is what was the name of this show? Is there a
website dedicated to this show? Does anyone have any "general
information" about the show participants (where are they now, is the
show still in syndication, etc)?
Thank-you so much ! | |

They got as far as Alberta, received $400 each from Ralph Klein,
discovered there was no Sales Tax, and decided to stay! <g> | |
