Digital Camera Usage in Canada It also depends upon where you are coming from. If you are coming from
the US, voltage is not a problem for charging a camera or computer. No
expensive accessories are needed. I always like to take a good quality
outlet bar (surge protector) just in case the place that I am staying
has fluctuating current issues. If coming from Europe, I would assume
that the plug modifiers for the US and Canada would do the trick, but
would definitely take an outlet bar for added protection.
To your first question, a number of Internet Cafes have the capability
to download pictures from your digital camera and load them onto either
a CD or DVD or upload to a picture storage site. Of course, all of
these services cost money, but probably much cheaper than purchasing a
laptop or card reader to CD gadget.
Hope this helps!
